Vail, CO (Day 1)

Spent 5 days in Vail for a family party which was awesome.  Vail has really put a lot into making a year round resort.  The Vail valley is beautiful and an area we haven't ridden much aside from the Two Elk trail.

We ended up getting in about 80 miles with 12,000 feet of climbing in 4 riding days.  The climbing is tough out of the valley, but yields some really nice descents and scenic trails.

Day 1 (Lost Lake Loop):
A completely new ride to us going up to the Lost Lake trail up against the Eagle Nest Wilderness and working our way back through down to the Buffehr Creek trail.  Really nice loop with a mix of dirt road and single track with some options to add on additional miles.

Pretty good grind up Red Sandstone Road.....
