Music & Skiing

Sarah and I have gotten back into the skiing full force.  Up to 14 days this year already and have been skiing Winter Park/Mary Jane, Copper and Loveland so far.  It has been a great early season in Colorado making for some great powder days already.

The music scene in Denver is pretty amazing....with national touring acts coming through along with some of our favorite small under the radar bands and the local musicians makes for some fun times.

We went to the 10th annual Last Waltz revisited in Denver the night before Thanksgiving....put on by over 30 local musicians.  This year they moved up to the Fillmore and played in front over 3,000 people.....it was a great night.

In December Jerry Joseph played three shows Denver, Keystone and Boulder....we did all three with skiing at Copper mixed in.

And.....It's Winter

After last weekend with 70 degree temps and perfect trails......Monday came with a massive change in our weather.  Temps dropped into negative digits most of the week with a decent shot of snow.

Skied Loveland yesterday and did a nice hike behind the house today.

Golden

Nice start to the month as summer/fall continues.  Received a good dose of rain up and down the front range on Friday night, making for great riding conditions Saturday morning.  Even small dusting of snow on upper Chimney/Apex.

Route for the day was Chimney > Apex > Dakota Ridge > Zorro > Green Mnt.  30 miles with 5,000 feet of climbing.

Last of 6 nasty switch backs......big effort to clean all of these.
