Riding A Little....

I have been really busy at work and have not had my bike in 7 days now.  Sent my shock to Push to get serviced....which has taken longer than expected.  I have been able to try some different bikes because of the great crew at the Golden Bike Shop.  Tried a Pivot 5.7 out last weekend and this weekend a Niner hard tail.

Pueblo was good and we road for almost 4 hours which felt really nice.

This weekend just some laps on North Table Mountain.  Started shooting photos in the RAW format....learning more and more about the G10.

Got One In....

Managed to get a nice ride in on Saturday up north in Loveland prior to the snow and cold we have as of Sunday.  We will be shut down for a little while....temps are supposed to warm this weekend, but with about 10 inches of snow up and down the Front Range it will likely be a little while before we are on trail again.  I guess winter has to come at some point.

Ride was nice starting at the Devil's Backbone trail which provides a nice mix of technical rock riding along with flowing single track.  Overall we were out for 3 hours which felt had been a while.

2011 is here and with it came winter....only 1 night ride so far in 2011 (looks like tomorrow will be a riding day).  Overall a little break has been nice after another big year on the bike, at least for me.

Some 2010 numbers....

196 rides
3,200 miles
500,000 feet gained
500 hours riding  in the mountains :)

Inaugural Baily Hundo (100 miles 11,000 feet in 12 hours)
Firecracker 50 (50 miles 10,000 feet in 6.5 hours)

31 days camping/biking
21 of those in Moab

And most of this with my wife...we are lucky and hoping 2011 will be just as amazing.
