Where did March go?
Started the month off in Carmel, CA visiting family and had a once in a lifetime chance to play golf at Cypress Point. I am not a huge golfer as most of my free time is spent riding, but playing golf here was an amazing experience. We had an awesome day out there and was great to play with my parents.

Contrast
The Front Range offers interesting weather, as I have referred to in the past. January actually finished up nicely and was able to finish out the month riding trail instead of the road bike.
Two weeks ago we made it up to the Bobcat Ridge Natural area in Fort Collins, this was our first time riding here.
Looking towards Rocky Mountain National Park....
Last fall some new trail was added to North Table Mountain that gets plenty of sun and has been dry for us. Ended up putting in a nice 18 mile ride on North Table Mountain last Saturday. The new section of trail is a really nice addition to the park....
Last Sunday we went down to Colorado Springs to ride with some friends. The Springs has been missed by most of the snow we have been getting up north and we were able to spend 5 hours riding a variety of trail down there.
Pike's Peak.....
And now for the contrast.....the Front Range got hit with a large upslope system out of the south starting Thursday night and cranking all the way through Saturday morning. Some foothill areas received 50 inches in just over 24 hours. We got close to 20 inches in Golden.....
We won't be riding any trail around Golden for a while.....back to the road bike and intervals on the North Table service road.

New Year
Another successful trip around the sun; the year was filled with ups and downs, but spent plenty of time on the bike. December was a slow riding month with the Holiday's and all the snow we got. Pretty big stormed rolled through dropping 18 inches in Golden in about 36 hours, but as is Colorado much has melted and temps are supposed to be in the 60's the next couple days.
Holiday season was good and even went snow shoeing in Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
Numbers for 2011.....
